Part-Time Therapeutic Support Specialist - DMH Flex

Description

Bay State Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Therapeutic Support Specialist to provide individualized support to youth and families in their homes and communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with young people and helping them strengthen the skills needed to succeed at home, in school, and in the community. 

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

· Provide Strength based and resiliency building activities

· Collaborate on goal development, crisis planning and problem solving

· Collaborate with family, treatment providers to ensure that services are integrated and clinically coherent

· Support implementation of clinician’s Community Support Plan

· Maintain administrative and clinical records according to standards

· Co-Facilitate groups

Requirements

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field with 1-year experience with DMH youth -OR-

· Associated degree in Human Services or related field with 2 years of experience with DMH youth

· Must be at least 21 years of age 

· Possess creativity and experience with activity-based services

· Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance

· Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
