Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Imperial, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, loading locations, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate resources as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
