The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a results-driven Senior Loan Kit Team Leader to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia.

In this pivotal role, you will lead daily loan kit operations and develop a high-performing team to ensure orthopaedic surgical kits are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time. You will drive operational excellence, quality and continuous improvement, helping support patient safety and outstanding service to healthcare customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily loan kit warehouse operations across dispatch and receiving, delivering high standards in safety, quality, compliance, service and cost.
  • Coach and develop the team through clear objectives, regular feedback, performance dashboards and structured development plans.
  • Drive team performance to ensure customer orders are processed, packed and dispatched accurately, efficiently and on time.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, resolve kit issues and strengthen customer outcomes.
  • Partner with sales representatives, customer service and freight providers to resolve issues, manage outstanding orders and optimise freight costs.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, current training records and full compliance with quality systems, SOPs and the Five Quality Principles.

About You

  • Proven success in leading a team, in a high volume and complex environment is a must.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead this in an organised manner.
  • Lead with empathy and by example to drive team member KPI’s and development.
  • Ability to handle SAP/ERP systems.
  • Strong relationship building skills with suppliers and customers.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
