Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of scalable, robust AI systems, including data pipelines, ML models and generative AI applications, using cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Development of powerful data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, vector databases) to support AI/ML workloads.
• Development and optimization of MLOps and GenAIOps pipelines for efficient model deployment and monitoring.
• Evaluating and integrating the latest AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), computer vision and reinforcement learning.
• Presenting strategic technology recommendations to senior management to help shape AI strategy and investment decisions.
• Conducting technical workshops and deep-dive sessions to analyze complex AI requirements and develop actionable strategies.
• Developing reusable AI solutions, including reference architectures and generative AI blueprints.
• Ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements, in particular the EU AI Act.

Qualifications:

• Completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Ideally 5 years of experience in architecting AI/ML solutions, data science or related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale AI systems in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Profound programming skills in Python as well as experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of MLOps and GenAIOps principles and tools.
• Very good knowledge of English required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
