Overview

We are hiring a Planning Manager to join the team behind one of the most exciting media accounts in Europe. Working on Sky Sports, you'll help shape media strategies that connect millions of fans with some of the biggest sporting moments of the year. This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, collaborative planning, and commercial impact while working with a client recognised for innovation across sport, entertainment, and connectivity. Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

• Lead the development of integrated media plans that align with client objectives and deliver measurable impact.
• Own day-to-day campaign delivery, ensuring plans move smoothly from brief through to execution and optimisation.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key partner and advisor across planning activity.
• Identify proactive opportunities that help strengthen campaign performance and create additional value for clients.
• Collaborate closely with specialist teams, agency partners, and suppliers to deliver connected and effective solutions.
• Support and develop team members through coaching, clear feedback, and meaningful development conversations.
• Contribute to the wider agency community by sharing best practice, celebrating great work, and participating in industry initiatives.

Qualifications

Skills we're looking for

• Experience developing media strategies across multiple channels, including digital, broadcast, and emerging platforms.
• Confidence managing client relationships and translating business objectives into effective media plans.
• Strong campaign management skills, with experience overseeing delivery against timelines, budgets, and objectives.
• An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into recommendations.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across planning, activation, data, and client teams.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets with accuracy and accountability.
• Curiosity about the sports landscape and an interest in staying informed about key events, trends, and audience behaviours.
