EMR Specialist

HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, day hours at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Camillus and Auburn. Provides assistance to end-users. Coordinates basic user technical training, develops instructional materials for EMR training. This position provides support in all areas of the EMR functionality, including administrative support to the Manager of EMR and System Integrations and department managers. Travel between off sites is required.

Requirements

· Experience working in a Medical Oncology Office preferred.

· Associates Degree preferred.

· Candidates should have experience working with electronic health programs and/or similar software programs.

· Candidates should have experience maintaining, organizing, and updating patient charts/health records with high accuracy.
