Why this role matters

In your first year as Junior Portfolio & Innovation Lead, you will ensure that innovation projects launch on time, in full, and with the right operational readiness. This role is essential to connecting the end-to-end supply chain with cross-functional teams, enabling Flora Food Group to bring better food innovations to kitchens everywhere. Your work supports the smooth introduction of new products by managing supply chain risks and coordinating technical and operational details. This role matters now as we continue to grow our innovation pipeline and deliver culinary solutions that meet real consumer needs.

What you'll do

  • Support the development of project scopes and feasibility assessments to ensure supply chain readiness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to align on recipes, packaging, and technical requirements.
  • Use data tools to validate supply chain information and assist with master data and costing inputs for new products.
  • Track project progress and report on key milestones, risks, and performance indicators to leadership.
  • Coordinate trial preparations and support first production readiness to guarantee smooth product launches.

Performance

You will own the accuracy and timeliness of supply chain inputs for innovation projects, ensuring no delays in master data, costing, or production readiness. Your data-driven approach will help identify risks early and keep projects on track, contributing directly to operational excellence and successful product introductions.

Care

This role reports to the Portfolio & Innovation leadership and works closely with a broad network of teams including R&D, Planning, and Quality. You will foster strong collaboration across functions and regions, ensuring sustainable project delivery and long-term value for Flora Food Group and the communities we serve. Your attention to detail and proactive communication will uphold our commitment to doing the right thing every day.

Passion

You are a curious food enthusiast who understands how innovation in taste, nutrition, and functionality drives consumer delight. Your passion for food and operational excellence fuels your commitment to delivering better products that meet evolving kitchen needs. You take pride in supporting a team that raises the bar in culinary innovation and supply chain reliability.

About you

You bring experience in supply chain, planning, or innovation project coordination, with strong analytical skills and comfort using ERP and data tools. You manage multiple projects with structure and clarity, communicating effectively across teams. Your proactive mindset and problem-solving skills help you own your tasks and contribute to continuous improvement. You are genuinely interested in food culture and curious about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation. You understand that strong brands are built by anticipating what’s next in taste, nutrition and functionality, and by translating insight into meaningful consumer experiences.

Where this could lead to

This role typically leads to greater responsibility within Portfolio & Innovation or Supply Chain management, with opportunities to lead projects or teams. Over time, you could grow into roles that shape innovation strategy or operational excellence at a broader scale within Flora Food Group.
