Function:
The Retail Analyst in charge of financial and project analysis, report generation and support on operational activities related to Retail department. Scope includes providing analysis, reporting and project coordinations in Retail fuels, Retail lubricants, and convenience stores business for the country.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Prepare sales and financial analysis related to information including volume, margins, market share trends and results and versus budgets and forecasts, determining trends, gaps and factor analsyis.
2- Coordinate the annual budget process, including monthly forecasting; prepare presentations for budget, weekly-monthly results.
3- Create P&L’s for all Services Stations (Puma Internal Margin Analysis/Dealers assessment), prepare BVR (rent) proposals to the Retail Sales Manager.
4- Identify potential volume opportunities or site under-performing and develop action plans to mitigate the loss or capture additional volume.
5- Implement Retail Marketing strategy supporting data analysis including but not limited to goal setting by site, financial impact, among others.
6- Monitor Retail KPIs (sales volume, margin & product, sales commission, Capex, Opex), Non Fuels Income (rebates, fees, royalties, ATMs, leased spaces).
7- Coordinate and execute Network Planning activities, managing NP software and updates. Includes creating tactics, what if scenarios, and site project analysis (capex economic templates) to support business cases.
8- Coordinate marketing related activities, monitor market research into industry trends related to the company’s business.
9- Prepare and submit report periodically based on data analysis to the Retail Team and General Manager as required
10- Support the Retail Department on any special assignments to optimize SS’s products & services such as Puma Control, Fleet Cards, and future retail initiatives among others.
11- Follow up on economic impact and success measurement of Marketing Promotions, volume incentive initiatives and Action Plan performances.
12- Maintain different database controls and updates for the correct integration of all the departments and support groups involved.
13- Prepare weekly reports related to retail service and loyalty programs performance.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Undergraduate University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Post graduate degree in Business Administration or similar field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions or relevant role.
- Proven record of good project management skills.
- Significant Retail experience
- Solid downstream business knowledge (can do, troubleshooting solving and adapt).

- Being able to speak confidently and articulately in front of a group of Sales professionals, conveying complex information to a broad audience
- Being able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicating clearly, both in writing and verbally, in order to create a clear and communicative environment with the Sales team and other coworkers, as well as writing sales reviews and reports
- Fluent English
- Highly proficient in using MS Office, advanced Excel skills.
