We are seeking an experienced clinician and leader to serve as the Clinical Manager of our Fusion Adult Outpatient Clinic (FAOC).

The FAOC Clinical Manager is a working clinical leader responsible for supporting the clinical performance, daily operations, therapist development, quality, productivity, patient access, and sustainable growth of the adult outpatient clinic.

This position combines direct patient care with protected administrative and leadership time. The Clinical Manager maintains an active patient caseload while providing visible, accessible leadership and support to the FAOC clinical team.

The standard weekly schedule includes 30 scheduled patient treatment hours and 10 protected administrative and leadership hours. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, on-site position. The Clinical Manager reports to the Clinical Director and directly supervises the FAOC Clinical Lead Therapists.

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on clinical discipline, years of experience, leadership experience, and overall qualifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing visible and accessible clinical leadership to FAOC therapists.
  • Supporting clinicians with clinical reasoning, complex cases, treatment planning, patient-care concerns, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Conducting or overseeing therapist check-ins and providing clear coaching, feedback, expectations, and follow-up.
  • Identifying therapist training, development, or performance needs and helping coordinate appropriate support.
  • Supporting Clinical Leads, mentor therapists, and developing clinicians.
  • Reinforcing high standards for clinical care, professionalism, ethics, documentation, and communication.
  • Assisting with difficult patient or caregiver situations when clinical leadership involvement is needed.
  • Promoting collaboration among Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.
  • Directly supervising FAOC Clinical Leads and providing leadership coaching, accountability, development, and follow-through.
  • Reviewing responsibilities, statistics, projects, and action items with Clinical Leads.
  • Monitoring completion of delegated responsibilities and helping Clinical Leads problem-solve barriers.
  • Addressing routine performance concerns and escalating significant or repeated concerns when appropriate.
  • Maintaining assigned treatment availability and an active patient caseload.
  • Accepting evaluations and new patients based on clinic needs.
  • Providing skilled, individualized, evidence-based care within the employee's licensed discipline.
  • Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Supporting continuity of care, patient transfers, and effective caseload management.
  • Providing on-site clinical leadership for FAOC's day-to-day operations.
  • Helping manage clinical impacts related to call-ins, absences, schedule changes, and operational disruptions.
  • Collaborating with Patient Services regarding scheduling, coverage, patient communication, access, and continuity of care.
  • Identifying and helping resolve clinical and operational barriers.
  • Monitoring therapist schedules, productivity, availability, capacity, and advanced schedules.
  • Identifying schedule gaps, caseload imbalances, productivity barriers, and opportunities to improve patient access.
  • Supporting appropriate patient transfers and development of permanent therapist caseloads.
  • Reviewing assigned quality and documentation trends.
  • Completing assigned documentation reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Partnering with Quality Control leadership, the Clinical Director, and Clinical Leads on improvement initiatives.
  • Participating in clinical interviews and supporting clinical onboarding and orientation.
  • Monitoring mentorship and onboarding progress and identifying opportunities for clinical education and development.
  • Reviewing assigned FAOC clinical statistics and identifying trends affecting quality, productivity, patient access, capacity, therapist performance, or clinic sustainability.
  • Preparing accurate updates, recommendations, and action items for leadership.
  • Supporting implementation of approved policies, procedures, SOPs, and clinical initiatives.
  • Identifying workflow inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing clinical input regarding services, programs, referral education, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating across departments to support sustainable growth of the adult outpatient clinic.

A successful FAOC Clinical Manager helps create a clinic that is clinically excellent, productive, well-supported, focused on excellent patient care, strong in documentation and quality, effective in developing therapists and Clinical Leads, responsive to operational challenges, and positioned for sustainable growth.
