Job Description:

PROJECT/TASK MANAGER - TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
 

As a DoWIN Operations Section Lead, the work you’ll do at GDIT directly supports the mission of U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will provide focused leadership across a defined section of the program, ensuring technical accuracy, operational consistency, and alignment with program objectives for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portions of the Department of War Information Network (DOWIN).

Selected candidate will provide full-time onsite support at our Fort Huachuca, AZ facility.


MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

  • Lead day to day execution of assigned technical tasks by coordinating the efforts of capability task leads, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with established cost, schedule, and performance goals.
  • Serve as the primary integrator between capability task leads and program leadership, translating program level direction into actionable guidance and ensuring consistent communication across the section.
  • Support planning and resource coordination by identifying section level requirements, assisting with workload distribution, and providing input to program leadership on staffing, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure technical and operational quality by reviewing deliverables, validating compliance with Army Enterprise LWN standards, and reinforcing adherence to DoW and Army Cybersecurity Policies (e.g., AR 25 2, AR 25 1).
  • Facilitate issue resolution by identifying section level challenges early, coordinating with task leads and program leadership, and recommending corrective actions to maintain mission effectiveness.
  • Contribute to documentation and reporting by preparing section specific updates, metrics, and technical inputs for program level plans, proposals, and briefings.
  • Provide direct support to government customers and cross‑functional teams across all contract/PWS tasks, ensuring effective delivery of services on customer‑owned technologies.
  • Maintain a working understanding of the systems, tools, and platforms used by the customer, enabling the Section Lead to guide break/fix activities, technology upgrades, cybersecurity requirements, and the integration of new capabilities in accordance with contract and PWS obligations.



WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to mission success to GDIT. The DoWIN Operations Section Lead must have:

Education: Bachelor's Degree.  An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Clearance: Minimum of an active Top Secret security clearance required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

Certification: 8570.1 M IAT Level II Certification required.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Technical skills:

  • Experience supporting operations in the information technology field.
  • Prior team or task level leadership.
  • Working knowledge of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, and operational constructs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Project, and Microsoft Visio

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
