Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Clinical Lab at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. (Monday-Friday; 0800-1630)

Overview:

As a laboratory support technician (LST) duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology (required)

Certification/Licensure

• No certification or licensure required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.96 - $29.25 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Sentara CarePlex Hospital, located in Hampton, VA, is a 224-bed technologically advanced, acute care facility, and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
