The Driver Qualification Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the front-end Driver qualification and onboarding process by coordinating required documentation, drug testing, data entry, and communication with Agents, Drivers, and truck owners. This position serves as a key point of contact throughout the pre-qualification stage, providing timely updates on Driver qualification statuses, gathering lease documentation, entering information into applicable systems, and coordinating with internal teams to support the activation of Drivers and trucks. The role requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced Safety environment.


Essential Job Duties

  • Establish and foster relationships with Agents, Drivers, and truck owners
  • Promptly field phone and email communications from Agents, Drivers, and truck owners 
  • Provide proactive updates to agents pertaining to Driver qualification statuses
  • Coordinate Driver drug testing; schedule the drug screen and send details to Drivers
  • Accurately enter data into various systems
  • Gather lease documents from truck owners and enter applicable data into 360
  • Coordinate with Welcome Box team to activate Drivers and trucks
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 
  • Ability to remain patient and calm under pressure
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organization skills 
  • Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another and reprioritize throughout the day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Occasional travel is required based on operational and customer needs 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, or a related field
  • Administrative experience
  • Trucking industry experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel 
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish
