Role
As an intern within the Scalable Data & Analytics Services team, you will support the design and optimization of data-driven operating models that enable scalable service delivery across ING. This role offers exposure to strategic planning, analytics, automation, and capacity management while providing the opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced and international environment.
The team
The Scalable Data & Analytics Services (SDAS) team is responsible for delivering scalable data services that support ING's data strategy across data governance, quality, protection, flow monitoring & reconciliation, definition & lineage and end user computing control. The team works closely with countries, domains, and central functions to optimize service delivery, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision making. We continuously seek innovative ways to automate processes, improve resource allocation, and strengthen the link between business demand, service volumes, and operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Support the automation of the SDAS charging model by developing analytical solutions and process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase transparency.
Assist in building analytical models that connect service demand and consumption with capacity planning requirements.
Assist in creating dashboards and reporting solutions that provide insights into service consumptions and charging outcomes
Develop reports, visualizations, and presentations that support strategic decision making.
Work closely with Product Leads, Capability Leads, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements
Challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions for scaling of services
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest in automation, operating models, workforce planning, and business analytics.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
