Our Market Access team monitors population demographics and develops solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our medicines create value in society.

The Senior Specialist, Oncology Market Access role will work closely with agency partners, internal brand colleagues, promotions, policy, legal, and the Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement (OCAR) team to support OCAR strategies for current and future indications. This role will report to the Associate Director, Oncology Market Access.

The Senior Specialist, Oncology Market Access will be responsible for supporting brand products, tactical execution and collaboration on promotional strategy, as well as critical internal operational functions including but not limited to: OCAR, Global Pricing and Access, Managed Care Field Teams, The Health Care Economics team, US Oncology Digital Engagement & Channels team, agency partners, and Oncology Support Services Marketing.

Promotional support will focus primarily on resources not supported by the US Oncology Digital Engagement & Channels team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally within our company, including OCAR, Market Research, policy team, Global Market Access, Health Economics Outcomes Research, compliance, legal, pricing, and others to understand and build a value proposition for our oncology medicines that allows for access and reimbursement that is consistent with label

  • Input into development and execution of our payer value propositions, channel-specific strategies, and branded promotional initiatives

  • Collaborate with Payer Marketing team to develop resources that support the oncology managed care/marketing strategy

  • Manage and interact with agency partners

  • Manage Payer Marketing multi-tumor and health care economics resources

  • Oversee the safety label update process for Payer Marketing-related resources

  • Support the Payer Marketing digital promotion team on an as-needed basis

  • Develop and manage internal Payer Marketing communications

  • Work with the headquarters managed care team to manage the internal team website

  • Collaborate with Payer Marketing strategists to develop and implement conference strategy

  • Manage Payer Marketing operations on an as-needed basis

Education Minimum Requirements

  • Required: BA/BS

Required Qualifications :

  • Ability to work within a highly regulated and complex environment

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing or sales.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills.

  • Proactive nature and ability to manage change, anticipate risks, and design controls or mitigation

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal).

  • Proficient at leading across department and roles and effectively engaging senior management.

  • Strong judgment, prioritization, and decision - making skills, with understanding of broader context of corporate strategies

  • Comfort and confidence in working with teams and backgrounds; routinely demonstrates inclusive behaviors; actively seeks out perspectives and experiences

  • 5% Travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Managed Care or Sales

  • Experience in Veeva Promomats

  • Experience in Oncology/Oncology Payer/Buy-and-bill

  • Digital promotion experience

The salary range for this role is

$117,000.00 - $184,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
