Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Upscale Lobby in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an education setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational facilities, surrounding grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unauthorized access concerns and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role..
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
