Housekeeper – Willow Valley Communities

📍 Location: The Lakes and Manor Campus & at our brand new Marlin and Doris Thomas Memory Center (Start dates for the Memory Center positions are anticipated between December 2026 and April 2027.)

Position Details

💵 Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule Options

Option 1: Part-Time (Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Schedule could vary depending on department needs

Option 2: Full-Time (Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Every 4th weekend

Option 3: Full-Time (Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend

Option 4: Full-Time (Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday 
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Every 4th Weekend and Holiday 

Option 5: Full-Time (Non-Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Option 6: Full-Time (Non-Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Option 7: Full-Time (Non-Healthcare)

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Every 7th Weekend and Holiday

What You'll Do

As a Healthcare Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of our community while supporting our commitment to exceptional Resident care and service.

Responsibilities Include:

• Keeping utility and storage rooms clean and organized
• Washing beds and mattresses as scheduled
• Changing bed linens weekly where applicable
• Replacing soiled drapes as needed
• Disinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies
• Vacuuming rugs, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Cleaning and maintaining upholstered furniture
• Dusting furniture and equipment
• Washing walls, ceilings, floors, woodwork, and countertops
• Cleaning windows, door panels, and window sills
• Emptying wastebaskets and cleaning trash receptacles
• Transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areas
• Cleaning Resident rooms to maintain a welcoming living environment

Maintaining Public Areas Including:

• Offices
• Wellness areas
• Lounges
• Restrooms
• Country kitchens
• Spas and tubs
• Laundry rooms

Additional responsibilities include:

• Cleaning light fixtures and replacing bulbs as needed
• Performing detailed cleaning of Resident rooms, staff areas, and dining rooms
• Restocking paper towels, toilet tissue, soap dispensers, and linen closets

What We're Looking For

✅ Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic

✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

✅ Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures

✅ Customer service mindset with a positive, professional attitude

✅ Previous housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or janitorial experience is helpful, but not required
