Description
Quality Engineer develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols. Works with designs and specifications, devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect. Ensures that projects and process control documents are
compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts. Identifies and manages risk in product development (primarily utilizing and driving Production Part Approval Process (PAPP) core elements e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.). Develops and implements proactive quality strategies. Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action(s). Ensures all requirements are
met for work transfer and process change management (e.g. Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance). Designs and implements product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers. Supports the development and maintenance of inspection technologies or methodologies to
assure product conformance.
What You Will Do *
- Initiate NCRs and conducts preliminary reviews of NCR details, including coordination with authorized material review board
- Provide analysis and recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for manufactured products and processes
- Review Engineering Change Request through DCR, JIRA, LBIR, PR
- Analyze the details behind the quality issues
- Participate and Lead the cross functional team in the identification of the root cause and corrective action to address quality issues
What You Will Learn
- Identification of product and process risk, operational risk
- Initiate projects for improvement of Business Unit processes
- Conduct review to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management
- Utilize PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify and develop recommendations for managing risk in product development.
- Review process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.

Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years experience in either Quality, Process Engineering or Operations
Experience in a manufacturing environment handling non conformance reports process under an ISO standard certified company

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs
or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
