Assignment Sept 2026 to October 2027

Royal Canin is undertaking a major transformation programme called EOS to deliver against its strategy of being Fit for Future and removing business risk.  The transformation has 4 key elements: new technology, standardized core processes, a strengthened data & analytics foundation, supported by a dedicated transformation team and change management.  The 1st wave of implementations will go live in summer 2027 and RC EKA (European Key Accounts) will be one of the units to participate.  The approach will see local associates with relevant expertise moving onto the project and their day-to-day roles covered via backfills for the length of the project.

The primary responsibilities of the role will be to drive governance, planning, execution oversight, and stakeholder alignment across the EOS programme and business dependencies linked to that to ensure a successful deployment. The role serves as the pivotal hub of the deployment, ensuring It is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with global standards while meeting regional business requirements and supporting workload management for associate wellbeing.

It will act as a key stakeholder liaison point between the EOS Team and the local business team establishing effective governance frameworks, deployment readiness, monitoring risks and dependencies, and enabling successful adoption of new business processes and technologies.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Program Governance & Portfolio Management

  • Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, standards, tools, and reporting processes.
  • Manage the deployment, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and deployment roadmaps.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews.
  • Provide transparent reporting and actionable insights to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent project management practices across all workstreams.

Deployment Leadership

  • Coordinate end-to-end deployment activities within the unit across multiple functions.
  • Support deployment planning, readiness assessments, cutover activities, and go-live governance.
  • Monitor progress against deployment schedules and proactively address delivery risks.
  • Ensure local requirements are understood and appropriately incorporated while maintaining alignment with global templates and standards.
  • Drive successful transition from project implementation to business-as-usual operations.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and facilitator across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to resolve issues, remove blockers, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Prepare communications, dashboards, presentations, and status updates.
  • Influence outcomes and drive alignment without direct authority.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Develop mitigation plans and escalation paths for critical challenges.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues.
  • Ensure leadership visibility of key risks and recommended actions.

Business Readiness & Change Enablement

  • Support business readiness planning, training coordination, communications, and adoption activities.
  • Collaborate with change management and business teams to ensure successful process and system adoption.
  • Monitor post-go-live performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for realization of program objectives and business outcomes.

Financial & Resource Oversight

  • Support resource planning and capacity management across initiatives.
  • Monitor project performance against targets.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of project resources.
