Commercial Banking Relationship Management Associate

The Commercial Banking (CCB) business in Hungary is seeking a Relationship Management Associate (RMA) to join its team. The CCB business is focused on the acquisition of new clients as well as to manage existing client relationship management of the medium tier of the corporate segment in the Hungarian market who have international footprint. We serve clients with banking needs for domestic and international account management, financing and strategic advisory. We are focused on providing banking and financial solutions to our clients across 5 key growth industries - Business & Professional Services, Industrials, Technology, Consumer and Healthcare.

The primary responsibility of the RMA will be, in cooperation with the Senior Relationship Managers and the Business Head to servicing the banking and day-to-day needs of our clients and the business including know your customer, onboarding and other operations or credit risk management related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day client servicing, handle and provide timely resolution to client issues.
• Support Senior Relationship Managers on solutioning assessment, preparation of pitch books and meeting materials, assists with new clients’ acquisition.
• Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across the bank including Service, Onboarding, Account Management, Operations, Documentation etc. to deliver 'best in class' relationship management to new and existing clients
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Basic understanding of key commercial banking processes & solutions, including transactional banking, FX, Trade, Treasury, Working Capital and Lending products.
• Validates client data and documentation in relevant systems.
• Takes the lead to coordinate and follow-up across internal departments to solve client needs.
• Provides feedback to client related to emerging product needs, competitive practice and ideas on process/product improvement.
• Analyses client data and provides reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Proficient in Hungarian and English is essential
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
