Description of Work

As part of the Division of Human Resources (DHR), this position functions as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for an assigned organizational portfolio. The HRBP is responsible for providing strategic, consultative HR services to leadership, managers, and employees. The HRBP
liaises with HR Operational Services to provide information/data supporting recommended HR actions within the organizational portfolio and responds to questions and information needs to resolve issues. The HRBP collaborates with DHR stakeholders to develop leading practices that can benefit the DHHS organization and actively engages to deliver and support DHR wide
initiatives and projects. The role will foster a collaborative relationship with Central HR functional teams to drive optimization of HR initiatives and deliverables at Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center and DSOHF facilities.

The HRBP’s responsibilities include the following:
- Provide strategic HR consultation and guidance to leadership, managers, and employees.
- Collaborate with leadership on policy development/implementation, culture-building strategies, and long-term workforce planning to support recruitment, engagement, and retention.
- Identify, establish, and track key HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, organizational competency gaps, and provide analysis for strategic decision making.
- Monitor functional team deliverables, engage in problem resolution and contribute to process improvement to foster positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with DHHS HR Leadership and Operational Services on policy development, change management, and key HR initiatives

Salary Grade Range: $ 67,122.00 - $ 117,465.00

  • Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills to work with HR leadership, Operational Services, and cross-functional teams on initiatives and change management.

  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey guidance, policy impacts, and data insights to leaders, managers, and employees.

  • Ability to guide employee relations matters and support training and development needs to strengthen workforce capability

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and at least 4 years of experience in human resources with some experience in an HR lead position;
