We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager based in İstanbul and who will be responsible for strengthening employee relations and organizational compliance by serving as a trusted advisor to managers, employees, and third-party workforce personnel on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, Code of Conduct (CoC) concerns, HR investigations, and policy interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Coaching & counseling managers and employees on all employee relations matters are in place
- Support Line Managers in Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence Management Processes as well as Code of Conduct
- Proactively identifies potential employment law and policy compliance gaps and implements appropriate corrective actions
- Partnering closely with legal consultants to ensure that all new regulatory requirements are accurately reflected in relevant policies, systems, and processes
- Escalation point for formal Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence Management Processes for local HRMs
- Management of policy programs in conjunction with Legal, Compliance and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure CoC / Values facilitation & follow up in Control Environment Committee are in progress
- Play a key role as Control Environment and Global Control Standards Lead & Sector Control Environment Partner
- Play a key role of coach & investigator, ensuring consistency and quality of execution as well as dealing with escalated issues
- Partnering with internal control & audit team to build strong controls around HR processes
- Partnering with Supply Chain HR Team on strategic Labor Relations, especially on Collective Agreement Process
- Represent HR on the Control Environment Council, coordinate all Control Environment activity and lead Self-Assessment Process when necessary
- Ensures that relationship between company & 3rd parties are managed in standards
- Educates People Managers and HR employees on labor relations principles and practices, and coaches them through managing specific labor relations issues or activities
Qualifications
- +6 years experience with strong HR and project management experience, HR graduate/master is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of employment policies, and employment legislation within Turkey and ability to practically implement that knowledge within PepsiCo
- Balance legal risk with business benefit to ensure that the best outcome is reached on employment related issues
- Fluency both in Turkish and English (written&verbal)
- Strong communication & Stakeholder management
