Description
The Benefits Analyst conducts analysis and interpretation related to the Aimbridge Hospitality's benefits programs. This role is directly involved with evaluation and analysis to determine whether the organization is offering benefit packages and products, that are equitable and competitive within market place. These analysts help to develop, communicate, and implement all components of benefit offerings. Their aim is to assist the company attract competent associates and keep them.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in any benefits related activities.
- 2 to 3 years experience as a benefits analyst or in any area of HR administration is an advantage
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills.
- Able to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning associate information.
- Ability to use software and hardware effectively, including MS Office, Visio, and Access.
- High-level proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills to discern variances and trends
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts market analysis of company benefits to determine competitive positioning of the organizations benefit offerings.
- Assisting in the execution and administration and providing analytical support to for a variety of benefit policies and programs.
- Preparing supporting data for the review of annual salary budget.
- Preparing statistical analysis and data modeling
- Providing support to HR department concerning interpretation of benefit practices and guidelines.
- Providing guidance on issues related to benefits for management
- Provides assistance during annual benefits open enrollment.
