Job Description
At Ameriprise, we help clients achieve a confident retirement by understanding their needs and goals, and providing personal solutions, including investing and banking solutions. Ameriprise Cash Product Management is part of Banking and Cash Solutions within Advice and Wealth Management. The team is responsible for the product management of the Ameriprise cash products, including Certificates, Cash Sweep, Money Market Funds, and Bank Deposit products.In this role, you will focus on coordination and execution of key initiatives, development of business analysis and presentation to inform key decisions. You will coordinate with other Cash Product leaders to understand their priorities and develop a plan to bring the ideas to life. This role partners closely with Technology, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Analytics teams to transform ideas into actionable business plans, secure organizational alignment, and lead execution of high impact initiatives. You will be a key contributor to the successful growth of the Ameriprise Cash Product platform, including Ameriprise Bank. Initially, you will be an individual contributor with potential future leadership opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the coordination and execution of key cash product initiatives, including enhancements, campaigns launching banking products tailored to the needs of Ameriprise Financial investment clients and other prospective clients
Drive multiple initiatives from concept through development and market launch
Identify and evaluate opportunities that drive growth, increase client engagement, improve operational efficiency, or enhance employee and advisor experiences
Collaborate with leaders to develop strategic product roadmap and in partnership with leaders, develop a comprehensive plan for bringing the roadmap to life
Assist with the financial and business analysis, development of presentations, and influencing the customer experience
Analyze business performance, competitive trends, client feedback, and operational challenges to uncover opportunities for improvement
Deliver results through a matrixed organization including technology, operations, digital, finance, compliance, legal, risk, marketing, sales, field leadership and other partners
Build alignment among stakeholders with varying priorities and objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7+ years’ experience in program management, product management, finance, product analytics or some combination
Proven success leading initiatives and solving business problems creatively and with urgency.
Product orientation with a strong sense of ownership and ability to exercise sound business judgement in line with strategic goals.
The ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete work within a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to empower others.
Experience across all aspects of product management including product lifecycle management, pricing, service, sales, marketing, process, risk-management, and advisor engagement.
Involvement in digital financial product development and delivery.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills which allow you to effectively present to both business and technology partners and build executive ready PowerPoint decks and other written materials.
Leadership experience by delivering outcomes through key partnerships (i.e. technology, operations, finance, marketing, vendors)
Strong financial competence and analysis; ability to understand and interpret financial data, reports, and insights.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issues and potential ways to solve the issue.
Understanding of the competitive banking and investment landscape

FINRA Series 7
Experience working with FIS core platform, and other financial technology vendors
Experiencing using technology APIs to implement financial solutions
Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Brokerage business experience or knowledge

In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $100,000 - $137,600 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
