Job Description Summary
We are seeking a leader of Operational Resilience & Risk to join our Investment Management Operations (IMO) organization within Global Technology & Operations in Pune, India.
Team/Group Description
Investment Management Operations is a global organization responsible for supporting AllianceBernstein's investment management business across institutional, retail, private wealth, insurance, and ETF products. The organization provides operational support across post-trade processing, reconciliations, security master, corporate actions, investment guideline compliance, account onboarding, client reporting, pricing, derivatives, insurance operations, ETF operations, and other critical investment support functions.
The Operational Resilience & Risk role partners across all IMO functions to strengthen the control environment, identify and assess operational risks, enhance resiliency capabilities, support regulatory requirements, and promote a culture of risk ownership and continuous improvement.
Role Description
The Operational Resilience & Risk role is a key leadership role responsible for advancing the operational risk and resilience program across Investment Management Operations. The individual will partner with business leaders, technology teams, compliance, internal audit, and enterprise risk functions to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring critical business processes remain resilient and effective.
The role combines strategic risk management with hands-on execution, providing opportunities to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful improvements across a global organization.

- Third-party and vendor risk coordination
- New business and strategic change risk reviews
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Facilitate risk assessments across global operations functions.
- Partner with department leaders to identify emerging operational risks and control gaps.
- Monitor risk indicators and support escalation of material issues.
- Track remediation activities and ensure timely completion of risk mitigation plans.
- Analyze operational incidents, root causes, and trends.
- Coordinate governance reporting for operational risk forums and leadership committees.
- Support business continuity and operational resilience exercises.
- Maintain risk inventories, control documentation, and process assessments.
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk teams.
- Support risk review activities associated with strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements, and transformational programs.
- Prepare operational risk reporting and dashboards for senior management.
- Facilitate risk review sessions with department heads and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate resiliency testing, tabletop exercises, and lessons-learned reviews.
- Support annual risk assessments, policy reviews, and control effectiveness evaluations.

- Experience performing risk assessments and developing control frameworks.
- Experience preparing senior management reporting and governance materials.
