Production Artist / Production Designer

Reports to: Sr. Brand Marketing Manager

Fully Remote, Exempt position

Salary Range: $60-70k (depending on experience)

 

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly organized, production-minded designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Supporting a portfolio of approximately 70 brands, this role will create and adapt brand-consistent assets across promotions, digital, print, signage and local marketing.  This role combines high-volume production with creative opportunity. The ideal candidate can efficiently manage significant resizing, versioning and adaptation needs, while also bringing fresh ideas and design thinking to campaign development, promotional concepts and new creative approaches.

 

Beyond day-to-day design, this person will help build templates, improve workflows and use AI and automation tools to make creative production faster and more scalable.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and version a high volume of creative across approximately 70 brands, markets and locations.
• Adapt campaign creative across multiple brands, sizes, channels and formats.
• Contribute original ideas and creative concepts for campaigns, promotions and brand initiatives.
• Take projects from initial creative exploration through final production and versioning.
• Develop promotional assets, flyers, digital ads, social assets, direct mail, signage, POP and other marketing materials.
• Manage logo adaptations, lockups, brand transitions and production-ready files.
• Support quick-turn, local marketing and ad hoc creative needs.
• Build reusable templates and modular creative systems to efficiently scale work across brands.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation and batch-production tools to accelerate versioning, resizing, file preparation and repeatable tasks.
• Explore how emerging creative tools can improve both production efficiency and creative development.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, templates and production files.
• Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, digital and signage vendors.
• Partner with Marketing, agencies and vendors across creative projects and overflow needs.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong design quality and attention to detail.

  

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of graphic design or production design experience, ideally in a high-volume, multi-brand, retail, franchise or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating production design, campaign adaptation, versioning and original creative work.
• Strong design fundamentals with the ability to contribute creatively, not simply execute existing layouts.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience building templates and scalable design systems.
• Demonstrated ability to produce large quantities of creative variations efficiently while maintaining brand consistency.
• Experience with AI-assisted design, automation, batch processing or other workflow tools strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of print production, file preparation, digital specifications and signage production.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, file management and quality control.
• Comfortable moving between creative concepting and high-volume execution.
• Collaborative and comfortable working directly with marketers, agencies and vendors.

• AI is used thoughtfully to increase both creative and production efficiency while maintaining strong design judgment.
• Turnaround time improves across high-volume and quick-turn requests.
• The Marketing team gains an embedded creative partner who understands our brands, anticipates needs and continuously improves how creative work gets produced.

 

Ideal Candidate

• This individual will need to be equally comfortable developing a fresh campaign idea and figuring out how to efficiently turn that idea into 70 brand versions.
• Enjoyment of the creative process, but you also see efficiency as part of great design. When faced with a large-volume request, you naturally think about templates, automation, AI and smarter workflows that allow you to move faster without sacrificing quality.
• Along with enjoyment of the creative process, will also be able to enjoy freshening up existing collateral and campaigns.
