JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule: Shifts are 10:30am-7pm, 40 hours/week. Includes a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation

• Prepare and cook handcrafted pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
• Safely operate a hearth-style pizza oven, including loading, rotating, monitoring, and removing pizzas during the cooking process
• Monitor oven temperatures and follow established safety procedures when handling hot equipment and food products
• Prepare ingredients and replenish food and supply stations throughout the shift
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Operate the POS system and process transactions as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
• Support team operations and assist with other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, stock, push, and pull food products and supplies
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to safely work around hot ovens, cooking equipment, and food preparation tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in a brick oven pizzeria or equivalent
