The Marketing Technology team has the mandate of increasing the rate of customer acquisition, retention, and revenue by optimizing products and inventing new marketing channels. We are a bunch of super talented and passionate engineers, data scientists, and analysts working together on an array of impactful problems in domains ranging from displaying ads on the Open Web and Social Marketing to organic search channels on walmart.com and other properties owned by Walmart.

Our team is responsible for design, development, and operations of large-scale data systems operating at petabytes scale. We focus on real-time indexing pipelines, web crawling, streaming analytics, distributed machine learning infrastructure. We interact with multiple teams across the company to provide scalable robust technical solutions.

They must be able to prioritise projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the processes, and get the right things done.

They will work in development, and delivery of scalable agentic software solutions aligned with business objectives. This role involves analyzing requirements, creating detailed designs, writing maintainable code, and ensuring quality through rigorous testing and debugging. The position requires expertise in AI/ML, Agentic AI, software architecture, continuous integration, and deployment practices, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability. The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally to address technical challenges, drive innovation, and support ongoing maintenance while adhering to company standards and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.

What You Will Do:

• Use a low-code/no-code agent-building platform to build and deploy software agents that solve complex business problems.
• Translate business challenges into agent-driven automation by chaining together APIs, triggers, LLM functions, and data workflows.
• Own solutions from start to finish—no handoffs, no dependencies—just deliver results.
• Continuously improve agent performance by monitoring execution and applying first-principles thinking to optimize or re-architect as needed.
• Act as a force multiplier by enabling other business stakeholders to think in terms of agents and automation.
• Analyze and classify requirements to align solutions with business and technical needs.
• Develop and configure code ensuring compliance with security, performance, and maintainability criteria

What You Will Bring:

Minimum qualifications:

•  6+ years of Frontend and backend experience building highly scalable, high performance, responsive web applications
•  Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Experience usingLLMs, retrieval frameworks, and agent development.
• Hands-on expertise withKubernetes/Cloud infra and observability.
• In-depth understanding of Javascript and React
• Experience on the backend side with Java(spring boot), Python
• Exeperience CSS Preprocessors like SCSS/LESS
• Experience with Node JS, including API development
• Experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade UI/FE applications
• Knows about working code vs quality code
• Experience in writing Unit Testable and Good quality code
• Well versed  in a variety of design patterns
• Experience with frontend toolings like webpack, babel, etc
• Understanding of frontend security and performance
• Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members
• Serves as subject matter expert (SME) on one or more major modules
• Experience in bootstrap production and non-prod environments in public/private clouds  
• Experience in secure, scalable and highly available online services  
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.  
• Enable data scientists, business and product partners to fully leverage our platform
• Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high-level design.
