Overview

Assist the Site Manager/Program Director in meeting the clinical goals of the program.  Develop positive behavioral support plans and strategies based upon applied behavior analysis to target behaviors of concern. Work directly with Site Manager to train, coach, and guide the design, development and review of behavior management strategies, skill building strategies, program implementation, and staff skill development. Act as internal consultant regarding clinical issues.

Responsibilities

The essential job duties/responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the information listed below:• Provide support to the Site Manager/Program Directorfor implementation of services. This includes supplemental clinical training to staff, program modification training for program managers, and providing clinical option information. Make program recommendations, as required.• Provide feedback to Program Director on the status of clinical programs. Maintain bi-monthly/monthly clinical minutes and ensure communication to ProgramDirector.• Ensure program staff are supplied with necessary formsfor behavior/academic books. Train managers on setup of behavior/academic books.• Train Site Manager/Program Director in clinicalsystems.• Provide support to Site Manager/Program Director through modeling/feedback. Provide feedback on staff performance through regular observations. Upon request, assist Site Manager/Program Director in direct observation and feedback. Provide feedback on various issuessuch as direct supportstaff development, management development,safety, human rights, and others.• Advise Site Manager/Program Director on needs of program and individuals.• Provide individual counseling, group therapy, and other direct clinicalservices.• Provide risk assessment and consultation on complex casesto other departmentstaff.• Conduct varioustraining programs for new employees.• Attend appointments with staff and externalspecialist. Present clinical findings and data. Observe and develop plansto address clinical behaviorissues.• Conduct clinicalscreenings and assessments.• Set up baseline materials and tools. Train staff on use.• Assist in conducting Intake Assessments of new referralsto Vinfen.• Perform other related duties, as required.

Qualifications

Typical Requirements:One to three years of experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred /Required Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Master’s degree in Special Education, psychology, social work or related field is required.

Driving Requirements:Driving is a requirement for this position using either a Vinfen van or personal vehicle. If using a personal vehicle, you must possess and maintain adequate insurance as well as maintain a safe driving record which is subject to annual checks. A valid driver's license must be presented at the time of employment. Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age, have maintained a valid US driver's license for at least six months, and must be able to pass a driver's screening background check.

Physical Effort:Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb as this is a very physically active position.Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipmentsuch as a calculator, copier, and printer.Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways.

Ability to assist clients with tasks of daily living.

Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed.Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand, and move around the facility.

Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Required Certifications:CPR required within two weeks of hireFirst Aid required within two weeks of hireSafety Care required within 60 days of hire

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $82,000.00 /Yr.
