Legal Counsel | Dublin | Aircraft Leasing

We're currently working with a leading aircraft leasing platform on the appointment of an in-house legal counsel to join its Dublin legal team.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex commercial transactions, supporting a global portfolio of assets across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in managing legal aspects of acquisitions, disposals, financings, commercial agreements and ongoing portfolio activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation and execution of a variety of complex commercial and financing transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements and transaction documentation.
• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial, contractual and risk-related matters.
• Support transaction execution from initial discussions through to closing.
• Manage external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with dispute management, contract compliance matters and other business-critical legal issues as they arise.
• Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer in Ireland, England & Wales, the United States or another common law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience gained within a corporate, finance, asset-based, investment, infrastructure, transportation or other transaction-focused environment.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment with multiple stakeholders.
