Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a dependable and safety-focused TRD Operator to join our Thermal Reduction Department (TRD) in Fairless Hills, PA.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role supporting the safe and efficient thermal processing of materials. As a TRD Operator, you’ll operate industrial equipment, monitor production processes, maintain accurate records, and work alongside your team to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

What You Will Do
• Operate thermal processing and related industrial equipment in accordance with established procedures
• Load, process, and move materials safely throughout the department
• Record before and after weights of material lots being processed
• Complete equipment startup checks and verify systems are operating properly
• Monitor and record operating temperatures and other required production information
• Observe equipment during operation and report irregularities, malfunctions, or safety concerns
• Monitor equipment and systems associated with the thermal processing operation
• Accurately complete production paperwork and enter required operational data
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as assigned
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Communicate equipment, material, quality, or production concerns to the Supervisor or Manager
• Support the team in meeting daily production goals safely and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
• Experience operating industrial equipment, incinerators, boilers, drying ovens, or similar machinery is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Basic math, documentation, and data-entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
• Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation access
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push or pull heavier materials and equipment as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday
• Ability to work around industrial equipment for extended periods
• Ability to work in industrial conditions that may include heat, noise, odors, dirt, and varying temperatures
• Ability to wear required PPE, which may include safety glasses, safety footwear, gloves, hearing protection, protective clothing, and respiratory protection
Schedule & Benefits
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• $18.50 per hour
• Full-time, onsite position in Fairless Hills, PA

Compliance Requirements
• Must meet applicable ITAR and NAID requirements
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening, drug testing, and pre-employment medical clearance
• Must complete required environmental, hazardous waste, and safety training applicable to the position
