THE ROLE

Joining our team provides opportunities to share your voice and talents, tackle challenging problems, create solutions and collaborate with dedicated co-workers. This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. In addition to daily responsibilities, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including:

• Social & Networking Events

• Presentation Challenges

At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how sales work at an asset manager.

MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday – Friday (beginning on Wednesday, January 13th through Friday June 25th, 2027), and work between 35-40 hours.  Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.

Job Summary

The Inbound Sales Co-Op participant is an integral part of the Inside Sales Team and are provided with tasks that provide tremendous educational exposure. This position offers a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in sales. The Inbound Sales Co-op will assist all areas of the department on product distribution activities. In addition, gain a fundamental understanding of the financial services industry by working with numerous stakeholders of the organization. The environment is fast paced, dynamic, fun and engaging.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintain C360 (SalesForce) system activity for Inside Sales: Adding new advisors, updating advisor information, and scheduling activities.

• Order product materials for dissemination through our Harte Hanks account.

• Customized Seminar invites, postcards and document on demands Books

• Coordinating literature and marketing materials for external field force and ISF

• Provide up to date market statistics for the ISF and Field Force on a daily basis

• Learn about financial hypothetical illustrations and bind literature materials etc. for advisors to utilize during wholesaler meetings

• FINRA Broker checks to verify they are advisors per Compliance.

• Scheduling and set up for meetings, book conference rooms, organize video conferencing needs.

• Run weekly activity reports for the ISF.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.

• Working knowledge of computer-based programs including MS Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
