Overview
Prevailance is seeking a Technology Advantage (TA) Senior Analyst to support North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) Capability Development Management Support (CMDS) in Norfolk, Virginia. This position is expected to work on-site and may require approximately 25% travel.
The Technology Advantage Senior Analyst supports the continued development and implementation of Technology Advantage as a critical enabler for NATO Warfare Development. This position analyzes Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs), supports development of the TA vision and action plan, and helps integrate Technology Advantage across Warfare Development initiatives, capability development, experimentation activities, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Identify new Emerging and Disruptive Technologies and support the cataloguing of existing EDTs
- Support the continued development and production of Technology Advantage as a critical enabler
- Analyze how Technology Advantage can support identified Warfare Development Imperative (WDI) Lines of Development
- Update Technology Advantage vision documentation to support a common understanding of the concept
- Develop an initial draft Technology Advantage Action Plan
- Support the definition of Initial Operating Capability (IOC) and Final Operating Capability (FOC)
- Support development of a Technology Advantage community of interest and engagement with internal NATO and external stakeholders
- Support the Technology Advantage Project Manager and Sponsor by providing information and reports regarding activities associated with the TA Action Plan
- Support integration of the Technology Advantage concept with related projects and experimentation activities
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of post-related experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience acquiring, assembling, and interpreting research and technology information
- Demonstrated knowledge of science and technology (S&T) information sources, including sources such as defense research laboratories, academic institutions, media, and defense ministries
- Minimum 5 years of documented experience interpreting future S&T and EDT-related information to assess potential military applications and opportunities to address current and future operational challenges
- Documented ability to analyze EDT documentation, identify technology adoption pathways, and develop practical examples of emerging technology applications to current and future conflicts
- Practical experience with PC office automation products and internet-based information research
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative software
- Demonstrated English-language proficiency equivalent to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333
- Valid passport from a NATO member nation with no travel restrictions to NATO nations
Education
- Bachelor's degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or a closely related scientific or engineering discipline
Clearance
- Must possess and maintain an active NATO SECRET or National SECRET (or higher) security clearance
