Description

Start: November (flexible)

A growing family in the Embarcadero is seeking a part-time family assistant to help with childcare and household tasks. They have a 3.5 year old boy and are expecting a baby early January. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and will be the primary caregiver. Main resposibilities include family laundry, light tidying, grocery shopping and other errands, preparing simple dinners for the family and toddler's lunches for school, and organizing. Someone with newborn and toddler experience is important as this person will be responsible for one or both children at times.

The schedule is Monday-Friday 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. + twice a month working 3:30-8:30 p.m. instead (which day of the week is up to the candidate).

Their ideal candidate is friendly, warm, comfortable working with a SAHM, and enjoys creating systems for organization. Parking is not great where they are, so ideally this person will take public transportation or BART. They provide a household car for work-related driving.

  • Enjoys organizing / creating systems for organization
  • Can make at least a year commitment, ideally longer
