What You’ll Do
As an EE98J Journeyman Electrician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical work on commercial solar and related electrical projects.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Installing electrical systems for commercial solar projects
- Installing and connecting electrical equipment and components
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Performing commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Working with solar-related electrical equipment and systems
- Ensuring installations meet applicable electrical codes and project requirements
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site
- Working with foremen, project managers, and other members of the electrical team
- Identifying problems in the field and developing practical solutions
- Maintaining high standards for workmanship, safety, and quality

Required:
- Current EE98J Journeyman Electrician license
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical plans and schematics
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Dependable attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Commercial solar experience
- Solar PV installation experience
- Experience with commercial-scale electrical systems
- Experience working on large construction projects
