Solar experience is a major plus—but it is NOT required.

What You’ll Do

As an EE98J Journeyman Electrician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical work on commercial solar and related electrical projects.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Installing electrical systems for commercial solar projects
• Installing and connecting electrical equipment and components
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Performing commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Working with solar-related electrical equipment and systems
• Ensuring installations meet applicable electrical codes and project requirements
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site
• Working with foremen, project managers, and other members of the electrical team
• Identifying problems in the field and developing practical solutions
• Maintaining high standards for workmanship, safety, and quality

Required:

• Current EE98J Journeyman Electrician license
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical plans and schematics
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Commercial solar experience
• Solar PV installation experience
• Experience with commercial-scale electrical systems
• Experience working on large construction projects
