This role will be a full-time, permanent position based in Mölndal, Sweden, known for its cutting-edge laboratories and production facilities focused on drug development and commercial-scale pharmaceutical production. The Team
You’ll be part of a small and supportive group of 7 associates - Laboratory Technicians, Research Technician and Laboratory Managers. Their focus is to support a very busy cell laboratory with 100 - 250 users. This is an international, inclusive environment, where you'll collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working in a laboratory environment as a Laboratory Cleaner, Sterility Technician, Facility Technician or similar is preferable
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Health & Safety (H&S) regulations
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is a plus
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and work collaboratively
- Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive and driven mindset
- Sense of ownership about the services we are providing
- Comfortable using digital tools
How you'll thrive and create an impact
- Ensure the timely delivery of media, water, sterile goods and laboratory consumables by overseeing glassware washing, guest lab coat collection, replenishment and the efficient distribution of all laboratory support materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organized workspace to meet lab requirements and ensure efficiency
- Assist with additional tasks and projects to support laboratory needs and improve workflow efficiency
- Perform user-level maintenance on instruments and equipment in the lab
- Be responsible for the operational part of the pipette calibration process, including sending and receiving pipettes, planning shipments, and keeping the pipette log updated
- Work closely with the Lab Manager to keep the lab operational and collaborate on lab improvement projects
- Act as the go-to person for lab users regarding practical issues in the lab, including answering questions about where to find materials and about lab routines
