Description
People Experience Coordinator at Property Meld
Be the heartbeat of the employee experience at a growing SaaS company! Property Meld is transforming how property management companies handle maintenance through our Intelligent Maintenance platform, and none of that happens without a strong, connected team behind it. As our People Experience Coordinator, you'll be the thread connecting People Operations, workplace experience, executive support, employee engagement, and smart automation — creating the daily moments that make our culture real.
Why this role matters
Great workplaces don't happen by accident. They're built through intentional experiences, thoughtful service, and people who genuinely care about making work better for others. This role removes friction and creates exceptional moments for every team member — from candidate to alumni — so leaders can spend less time on administrative work and more time leading people. You'll help build a culture made of hundreds of thoughtful moments, not just one annual event.
About the job and the work
Success here isn't measured by how busy you look — it's measured by how effortless you make work feel for everyone else. You'll wear a lot of hats, often in the same day, and bring the same level of care and organization to each one:
- Office management — keeping the workplace running smoothly day to day, from tidy, functional common spaces to making sure the office simply works for the people in it.
- Item reorder and restocking — staying ahead of supply needs (snacks, office supplies, equipment) so the team never has to think twice about it.
- Event planning — coordinating company events, team gatherings, and celebrations that build genuine connection, not just check a box.
- Culture committee leadership — championing and helping lead culture initiatives that make Property Meld a place people are excited to work.
- Staff appreciation — designing thoughtful moments of recognition that make people feel genuinely valued, not just acknowledged.
- Travel planning — coordinating executive and team travel logistics with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Onboarding and offboarding — creating a welcoming, well-organized experience for new hires and a smooth, respectful process for departing employees.
- Retirement administration — supporting the administrative side of retirement processes with accuracy and care.
- Payroll and benefits support — assisting with payroll processing and benefits administration, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Employee engagement — building programs and moments that keep people connected to the team and to Property Meld's mission.
- Environment and culture — shaping the physical and cultural environment so it reflects who we are and supports how we work best.
Across all of it, you'll anticipate needs before others notice them, bring order to fast-moving, competing priorities, and lean on AI and automation to streamline processes — without ever losing the human touch. This role blends hospitality with operational excellence: you'll create memorable moments through thoughtful planning while also being the dependable, detail-oriented person keeping the trains running on time.
Our culture
At Property Meld, our core values shape how this role shows up every day. Humility means running quietly in the background by design, fixing what isn't working without needing recognition. Loyalty means genuinely caring whether a new hire feels welcomed on day one, not just whether the paperwork got done. Integrity means handling sensitive information — payroll, personal details, executive schedules — with care every time, not just when someone's watching. Agility means shifting between payroll in the morning, an event in the afternoon, and a last-minute travel change that evening, without losing quality, and embracing new tools rather than resisting them.
About you
You find genuine satisfaction in helping other people succeed and creating exceptional experiences. You're naturally organized, highly dependable, and detail-oriented — you notice what others overlook. You're comfortable shifting between very different types of work — payroll one hour, event planning the next, executive travel after that — and you're equally effective working independently and collaborating across teams. You embrace technology and actively look for smarter ways to work, and you believe culture is built in the small, daily moments.
Pay, benefits, and logistics
This is a full-time, on-site role at Property Meld HQ reporting to the Director of People. Starting salary is $45,000 - $55,000/year. Benefits include a full health benefits package, 401(k), and PTO. Occasional travel may be required.
If your greatest satisfaction comes from making someone else's day easier, helping people feel connected, and building an environment where everyone can do their best work, we would love to meet you.
