Duties/Responsibilities
- Provides direct nursing care to geriatric population that suffers both significant psychiatric and physical co-morbidities.
- Ensuring that a safe and therapeutic environment exists and is maintained for this population.
- Safe administration of medication, including a thorough knowledge of psychiatric medications.
- Collaboration with all members of the interdisciplinary team in order to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care to both patients and their families

Education/Experience Required
- Evidence of continuing education.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic nursing process.
- Mental/behavioral health experience, with focus on geriatrics.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Current SECURE Training or training completed within 1 year
Registration/Certification
- Current RN Massachusetts License
- BLS Certification
Pay Range:
$37.14 - $76.08The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
