Experience / Qualifications
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical modules, components, and equipment according to approved drawings, work instructions, bills of materials, and technical specifications.
- Perform equipment setup and support functional, mechanical, and acceptance testing activities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
- Verify completed work against defined quality requirements and report defects, discrepancies, or missing information.
- Follow established environmental, health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, quality teams, and other functions to resolve assembly issues.
- Complete required production, inspection, and traceability records accurately and on time.
- Support continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, delivery, and assembly efficiency.
Experience and Qualifications
- Secondary technical education or vocational qualification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial technology, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, equipment installation, or a comparable manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical assembly methods, tools, fasteners, and basic measurement techniques.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify problems, communicate concerns clearly, and follow defined escalation processes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the flexibility to work in a changing production environment.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to complete electronic or paper-based production records.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the working language required at the site.
- Ability to perform the physical activities associated with equipment assembly, subject to applicable workplace requirements and reasonable accommodation.
