Property Valuations Leader, New Zealand
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Valuation Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in Auckland.
In this role, you will lead valuations work across New Zealand while supporting projects across the Pacific. You will manage operational delivery, client relationships, team development, and business growth, working closely with internal stakeholders and broking teams. This is a great opportunity to influence the direction of the valuations practice and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
We will count on you to:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the New Zealand valuations business, including policies, procedures, and team compliance with Marsh systems
- Manage significant valuation projects as project manager and valuer, including major assignments across New Zealand and the Pacific
- Build and maintain key client relationships, including responding to escalated client issues and complaints where required
- Support business development activity by working with broking teams, negotiating opportunities, and contributing to sales growth
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expense, utilisation, and cost management against targets
- Lead and mentor team members, support performance management, and help build an engaged and effective team
What you need to have:
- Registered NZIV valuer, or equivalent professional qualification that can be transferred under NZIV
- Demonstrated experience in valuations, with at least 8 years in the industry
- Experience managing client relationships, project delivery, and business priorities in a professional services environment
- Capability to work across operational, financial, and team leadership responsibilities
