Description
SMX is seeking a highly motived Project Analyst to join our team to provide support to multiple project teams responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Tasks will include liaison with client to synchronize team and client engagements, packaging deliverables, identifying emerging risks, monitor schedule, and support PM priorities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide support to PMs in all facets of job, to include technical work and administrative management
- Communicate effectively with entire team and work in a collaborative environment
- Work with PMs to develop budgets, estimate at completions, and additional documentation throughout life cycles of options and projects
- Draft and work with PM to implement documentation for subcontractors including statements of work and deliverables
- Assist PM to ensure deliverables are completed and submitted on time and in accordance with contractual requirements
- Work with PM to draft, submit, and track all procurements and travel budget.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with reviewing and editing technical documentation
- Must be highly organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks with competing priority levels in support of Project Managers
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Possess excellent data management, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- 3+ years of project support in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Associate’s degree or higher in business or other technical related fields
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
- Oracle project experience
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certification
