Job Description
Supervises and directs the work of a group or multiple groups of non-exempt employees involved in performing a portion of the sites work activities. Involved in solving problems of routine to moderate scope and complexity and may seek guidance and advice from manager. Utilizes a moderate degree of independence in making decisions
Responsible for leading a team of offshore mortgage customer specialists focused on initial loan intake, review, and preparation of loan files for submission to Underwriting. This role ensures files are complete, accurate and meet quality standards prior to Underwriting, while driving team performance, efficiency, and compliance with established guidelines. Responsible for balancing workloads to ensure loans are reviewed in accordance with SLAs
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically, 6 to 8 years of total experience in Operational Activities
1-2 years Lead or Supervisor
Preferred Skills/Experience
Must have:
Strong attention to detail & accuracy
Experienced with income, credit, and asset documentation
Ability to navigate multiple software applications at a time.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong understanding of the Mortgage lending process
Strong understanding of foundational lending compliance and regulations requirements
Adheres to customer confidentiality
Experience leading a team and mentoring/coaching team members
Demonstrated pipeline management & prioritization
Ability to generate and analyze reports
Conflict resolution skills, ability to troubleshoot and deescalate, when needed
Nice to have:
Strong knowledge of HE products
Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines
Strong understanding of complex tax documentation, including that for self-employed borrowers
Previous experience managing a team that interacts/partners with various business lines and stakeholder that span over multiple countries and working hours.
Ability to identify and articulate process improvements

Shift Timings: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
