Schedule Commitment
This is a Flexible Part-Time (F-PT) position. The typical work schedule averages up to 20 hours per week and is generally performed Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Work schedules are flexible based on departmental and organizational needs and may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends to support training, facilitation, meetings, employee engagement activities, or other City events.

Pay Plan
This opportunity is non-exempt and on Pay Grade #8. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.

Hiring Rate:
$22.17-$25.00
  • Min: $22.17
  • Mid: $27.15
  • Max: $32.15

Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated working experience coordinating projects, events, programs, or organizational initiatives requiring planning, communication, data management, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, organizational development, learning and development, human resources, or organizational culture initiatives is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of organizational development, employee experience, public administration, or change management principles.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices, policies, and terminology.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, project management software, and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Research, data collection, and analytical skills with the ability to summarize and communicate findings.
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.

Abilities

  • Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and anticipate organizational needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
