As a HIG PSE IE Senior Technician, you will support HBM IQP Reliability, Device Reliability, Package Reliability, Wafer Reliability, and product debug activities. The role includes reliability testing, failure analysis, laboratory operations, inventory and logistics management, audits, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted tools to improve IQP reliability run rate management, enhance debug capabilities, support wafer-level reliability testing, and drive automation and digital transformation within the lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Device Reliability, Package Reliability, and Wafer Reliability execution.
- Monitor and manage IQP reliability run rates, sample flow, and hardware readiness.
- Perform first-pass failure analysis and product debugging using probe stations and other debug tools.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve debugging efficiency, root cause investigation, and operational planning.
- Support automation projects, data analysis, dashboard reporting, and process improvements.
- Manage procurement, inventory, logistics, and laboratory readiness activities.
- Support audits, document control, ESD, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior technicians when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, reliability, testing, failure analysis, or laboratory operations.
- Experience with debug tools, probe stations, electrical test equipment, or reliability testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotating shift environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HBM, memory products, reliability testing, or semiconductor failure analysis.
- Experience with automation tools, Power BI, Python, SQL, or AI-assisted applications.
- Knowledge of MES, SAP, data analytics, and manufacturing systems.
- Experience supporting audits, ESD programs, inventory management, and laboratory operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead improvement projects and mentor junior team members.
- Candidates with extensive semiconductor industry experience (typically 10+ years) may be considered for engineering-level roles.
Shift Details
- Support 24x7 laboratory operations through rotating shift schedule (day/night shift rotation).
- Flexibility to support critical qualifications, engineering builds, and business priorities during weekends and public holidays as required.
