Description
We’re seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition Asia (ex-India), Executive Director to lead recruiting strategy across the region, partnering with senior business leaders to shape workforce planning and drive talent acquisition transformation in support of Morgan Stanley’s long-term growth objectives.

What you'll do in the role:
1\. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, partnering on workforce planning, organizational priorities, headcount strategy and hiring plans to support business growth and long-term talent objectives.
2\. Lead and advise on executive hiring across Asia, partnering with senior stakeholders on critical talent decisions, search strategies and complex hiring processes, while providing talent market intelligence and external insights to inform business and hiring priorities.
3\. Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team across the region, driving performance, capability building, employee development and operational excellence.
4\. Provide executive oversight of the Firm's Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partnership across Asia, including governance, service performance, commercial management and continuous improvement.
5\. Drive recruitment transformation initiatives, including the implementation of AI-enabled solutions, automation and data-driven approaches to enhance Talent Acquisition effectiveness and efficiency.
6\. Lead the Firm's campus recruiting strategy across Asia, ensuring the successful attraction and delivery of diverse summer intern and full-time analyst programs while strengthening Morgan Stanley's employer brand.
7\. Oversee the Firm's external search partnerships, including firm selection, governance, performance management and commercial oversight for senior hiring mandates.
8\. Provide governance and risk oversight across Talent Acquisition activities, including recruitment processes, vendor management, executive hiring and campus recruiting, ensuring adherence to firm policies, regulatory requirements and control standards.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Generally, we would expect to find the skills required for this role in individuals with at least 10-15 years' relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree required
- Growth mindset to allow Talent Acquisition to optimise efficiency and rigour using AI and technology
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry, coupled with a strong commercial acumen to effectively align talent priorities with business goals
- Strong understanding of recruiting and stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate complex matrixed organizations across geographies and business functions
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage, develop, and engage teams across multiple locations, cultures, and time zones
- A strong client focus with outstanding judgment, critical thinking and communication skills narrated using data
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver in a fast-changing environment, combining strong project management expertise with the agility to manage complexity, ambiguity, and multiple priorities effectively
