Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Specialist in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, delivery coordination, and tenant support in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or shift activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
