Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a professional presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees, drivers, and visitors while supporting smooth site operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations, reporting observed hazards or unusual activity.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and theft by observing facility activity, enforcing site access policies, and documenting incidents in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
