Job Description

Courier delivers prescription medications for our retail pharmacy for our specialty, hospice, retail, and home infusion departments. Works as an on-call employee when needed. Works under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager.

Hours: PRN (As Needed)
Required: HS diploma, IL Driver License

Pay: Starting at $16.54/hour

Responsibilities

Deliver supplies, reports, forms, mail, instruments and other specified items to the clients from Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System., Develop close relationships with clients and pass information to the lab as deemed necessary for client-lab relations., Drive a courier vehicle in a safe, but timely manner to locations assigned on time schedule., Maintain a collaborative framework for SBL and medical community to provide services to the patient population., Maintain proper operating conditions for courier vehicles and assure timely maintenance or repairs are performed., Records daily specimen pick up information using the Outreach Operations Application via OPS Handheld Devices, Utilize proper containers and preservatives for specimen transfer to the hospital laboratory.
