Description
We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Lead Architect to take full ownership of a high-concurrency media streaming platform. This is a "solo-lead" role requiring equal proficiency in the Linux terminal, database backend, and video encoding pipelines. You will be responsible for the entire operation lifecycle: from hardware specification and middleware management to architecting a resilient global delivery network.
Core Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Network Architecture

Server Management: Maintain full oversight of a bare-metal fleet including ~30 Ubuntu Linux servers and ~9 Windows OS servers.

Network Resilience: Design multi-tier proxy architectures and "one-click" deployment scripts to migrate services to new IP ranges or hardware to bypass ISP blocks or network interference.

System Optimization: Manage high-throughput video via kernel tuning (sysctl) for 10Gbps+ networking and optimize storage mounting using MergerFS.

Virtualization: Manage a containerized environment primarily using Docker for service deployment.
Streaming & Middleware

Delivery Pipeline: Architect FFmpeg-based pipelines using GPU acceleration (NVENC) to ingest and transcode source feeds into H.265/H.264.

Platform Administration: Deploy and optimize NB (New Build) or Xtream-based panels, alongside managing a cluster of 22 Emby Servers and IPTV services such as Nimble and StreaMMaster.

Protocol Mastery: Implement expert-level configurations for SRT, HLS, MPEG-TS, NFS, and WebDAV.
DevOps, Security & Monitoring

Proactive Monitoring: Review dashboards for latency, server availability, and 3rd-party service performance; respond immediately to crashes or freezes.

Advanced OpSec: Maintain total infrastructure anonymity through WireGuard/Stunnel, IP rotation, and origin-shielding via Nginx, HAProxy, and CloudFlare.

Threat Mitigation: Perform regular vulnerability scans and actively blacklist agents exploiting the Emby app or re-streaming IPTV content.
Operational & Business Management

Financial Oversight: Oversee daily/weekly business payments, audit payment processors, and manage the anonymization of funds and crypto-wallet configurations.

Product Strategy: Lead the product roadmap, conduct QA, and act as the final tier of technical support for complex billing or performance issues.

Cross-Team Support: Resolve RDP or environment issues for Content Management, Support, and Development teams.

Streaming Mastery: 5+ years in high-concurrency delivery with the ability to instantly diagnose and fix peering bottlenecks or ISP throttling.

Anti-Interference: Proven experience in IP rotation and reverse proxy tunneling to prevent platform discovery by automated scanning tools.

OpSec Awareness: Ability to operate with high-level discretion and maintain the total anonymity of the infrastructure.

Resource Planning: Ability to forecast operational budgets and choose hardware to ensure the highest possible user-per-server density.
