Technologia llc is currently seeking a qualified Proofreader to join our team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality products to our clients. The successful candidate will provide critical eye to detail, perform thorough review and make corrections of texts to ensure content is clear, concise and correct. Responsibilities: Proofread different types of content including articles, blog posts, product descriptions, marketing communication, and website copy to identify and correct grammatical, typographical, punctuation, syntax, and format errors. Compare typeset proofs against original documents to verify accurate content, layout, and design. Provide suggestions to improve the clarity, readability, coherence and logical flow of the written content. Collaborate with the content writers and editors to ensure the content meets quality standards. Maintain the consistency of language and style throughout the content. Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines. Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or a related field. Have a minimum of 2 years of proven working experience as a Proofreader or a similar role. Possess excellent knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling as well as proficiency with style manuals. Demonstrate the ability to pay attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Show proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, as well as familiarity with content management systems. Have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
