Position Overview
The Contracts & Registration Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the systems, standards, and processes that underpin motor vehicle contract generation, title, and registration operations across multiple states. This role ensures end-to-end transaction processes are scalable, compliant, and efficient for both consumer and fleet sales. Working cross-functionally with digital and sales teams, the Manager drives operational excellence through standardized workflows, robust partner management, and a high-performing team of Registration Specialists.

The expected base salary range offered for this role is $123,000-$154,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a standardized process for contract generation related to motor vehicle sales, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability across all applicable states.
- Oversee and manage both contract and registration operations, including systematic processes, standards, and systems built for delivery and transactions related to vehicle sales in the US.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with digital and sales teams to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end registration and transaction processes.
- Lead and manage a team of Specialists responsible for state-by-state vehicle title, registration and contract processing.
- Support consumer and fleet sales transactions, ensuring efficient and accurate registration processing.
- Ensure day-to-day operations remain compliant with applicable state and federal regulations, partnering with the cross-functional compliance team as needed.
- Oversee partner programs, managing relationships with external agencies and service partners that support title and registration work, order management, and transaction management functions.
- Conduct regular audits of external partner performance, ensuring adherence to established service standards, SLAs, and regulatory requirements, and driving corrective action where needed.
- Track, analyze, and report on team SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and present executive-level updates and performance reviews, communicating operational insights clearly to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading operations teams.
- Specific background in motor vehicle title and registration, including experience with both licensed and unlicensed state requirements.
- Experience managing D&B contracts and vehicle transaction processes for consumer and/or fleet sales.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and multiple state-level DMV systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments, including digital, sales, and compliance teams.
- Experience managing external partner or vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to prepare and deliver executive-level reviews and reports.
